# Logging into PetroAI
This guide walks you through the two methods for accessing the PetroAI platform: Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) and manual account creation.
# Method 1: Microsoft Single Sign-On (Recommended)
Microsoft SSO is the preferred login method as it leverages your existing work credentials and provides enhanced security through your organization's authentication system.
# Prerequisites for Microsoft SSO
Before you can use Microsoft SSO, your organization will need to configure the integration. Here's what you'll need to request from your IT department:
# What to Request from Your IT Team
Send the following request to your IT administrator:
Subject: Enable Microsoft SSO Integration for PetroAI Platform
Hi [IT Admin Name],
We need to enable Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for the PetroAI platform. This will allow our team to log in using our existing work credentials.
Required Actions:
- Add PetroAI as an approved enterprise application in our Azure AD/Microsoft 365 admin center
- Configure user access permissions for our domain:
[your-company-domain.com]- Enable the necessary API permissions for user authentication
Benefits:
- Enhanced security through centralized authentication
- No need for users to manage separate passwords
- Automatic user provisioning and de-provisioning
Please let me know if you need any additional information from PetroAI support to complete this setup.
