Required Software

Prepare to deploy Petro.ai by following the following steps in order:

1. Install a supported browser (for Petro.ai server and portal)

   • Download Google Chrome or,
   • Download Microsoft Edge Beta built on the Chromium open source project

2. Setup Spotfire

   • If your organization hasn’t installed Spotfire, either install Petro.ai Desktop (from Ruths.ai) or Spotfire Client (v7.10 or later).

3. Download the MongoDB (for Prod and Test environments)

   • If you are deploying the database on-prem, navigate to MongoDB’s website and download Community Server (4.0.x or above) on the appropriate machines. These machines are where the replica set will be deployed.

   • If you are deploying on the cloud, deploy a new cluster and save the connection string.

4. Install PetroCore (described below)
